The Pines Guide

Hey yall my name is Ian McGonigal. I've been fishing Lake O' the Pines

my whole life and I started guiding on Pines in 2021. My goals as a guide

are to have fun, be safe, and help my clients catch a lot of fish. 

I'll provide the life jackets, fishing equipment, snacks, and cold bottled water.

All you need to bring is your Texas fishing license.

(If you prefer to bring your own life jackets,

rods/reels, snacks, etc., you're welcome to do that too.)

On crappie trips I'll filet and bag your fish.

(You might want to bring a cooler for your bags of filets.)

• Crappie trips are available all year. In December, January, and February on Lake O' the Pines all crappie caught must be kept. (Up to the limit of 25 per person)

• Bass trips are available March, April, September and October.

• Bass/Crappie combo 7 hour trips are available March, April, September and October.

We'll be fishing out of a 2021 Crestliner XFC 189 with livescope.
