The Pines Guide

Lake O' the Pines is the perfect place to go for your next fishing trip!

At around 19,000 acres, impounded in the late 1950's on

Big Cypress Creek in East Texas, this beautiful lake

offers some of the best fishing and camping in the state.

Hi, my name is Ian McGonigal. I've been fishing Lake O' the Pines

my whole life and I started guiding on Pines in 2021. My goals as a guide

are to have fun, be safe, and help my clients catch a lot of fish.

I'll provide the life jackets, fishing equipment, snacks, and cold bottled water.

All you need to bring is your Texas fishing license.

(If you would prefer to bring your own life jackets,

rods/reels, snacks, etc., you're welcome to do that too.)

On crappie trips I'll filet and bag your fish.

(You might want to bring a cooler for your bags of filets)

Book a trip today and let's go fishing!
